Kajian Doktrinal terhadap Tantangan Kekristenan Progresif

Kekristenan Progresif sementara menjadi pembahasan dan kajian banyak Hamba Tuhan dalam beberapa waktu terakhir ini. Perkembangannya semakin signifikan di mana ajarannya mulai diterima di Indonesia dan mengubah konsep kekristenan konservatif yang berdasarkan pemahaman Alkitabiah. Terlihat sama sebagai orang Kristen tetapi para penganut kepercayaan kekristenan progresif berdiri di atas fondasi iman yang berbeda. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebagai antitesis terhadap berbagai pengajaran Kekristenan progresif yang mencoba meredefenisi ulang iman kepercayaan mengenai keselamatan, dan Alkitab sebagai Firman Tuhan. Berdasarkan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi literatur, maka penelitian ini menemukan, pertama, keselamatan adalah anugerah Allah bukan karena perbuatan baik atau menjadi orang baik; kedua, keselamatan diperoleh karena mengaku dengan mulut dan percaya di dalam hati kepada Yesus Kristus; ketiga, Alkitab adalah Firman Allah, berasal dari Allah yang diilhamkan kepada Para Rasul. Penelitian ini menjadi peringatan bagi setiap orang percaya agar kembali meneliti nilai-nilai kebenaran Alkitabiah dan menolong mereka untuk tetap mempercayai Alkitab sebagai Injil Kebenaran dan menolak berbagai ajaran yang menyesatkan.
